Testimonials

"I have BPD and I had absolutely no hope for myself until I listened A.J. Mahari's Audio, Finding Hope From the Polarized Negativity of BPD. This and a few other audios I listened to taught me so much. I now have hope. I now understand how I have kept myself trapped in my own borderline chaos as a way of not feeling my pain. I can now change this. I highly recommend others with BPD listen to A.J.'s Audios for Borderlines."

-- Lindy Sinclair, U.S.A.

"If you want to know more about Borderline Personality Disorder, as a borderline, or non borderline, I totally recommend that you buy A.J. Mahari's 3 Core Wound of Abandonment Ebooks. I have searched all over the web, read everything I could, including lots of other books and nothing was even close to as helpful to me as A.J.'s insightful explanation of abandonment in BPD. Finally, I understand.Thank you A.J. for the incredible gift of the insight you share that you learned through your own life experience."

-- Katy Gilchrist, Alberta, Canada

"A.J.'s Ebook and Audio Program for Non Borderlines - The Dilemma on The Other Side of BPD was a life-saver for me. From both the ebook and the audio program I learned so much about BPD that I still needed to understand so that I could make sense out of the chaos and turmoil of a relationship I was in and the pain of it all. This information helped me come to terms with the reality that love wasn't really what I thought it was. Thanks so much A.J.!"

Lost Self In BPD - Need and Search For Identity

Lost Self In BPD - Need and Search For Identity

Price: $11.99

People diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) do not know who they are. They do not have a stable sense of any known self or a stable sense of known identity. There is a profound need to search for the lost authentic Self and for identity. At the center of BPD is the core wound of abandonment - an abandonment wound so traumatic that it causes what Melanie Klein referred to as the "psychological death of the otherwise burgeoning authentic self"

This "psychological death" that anyone diagnosed with BPD experiences causes such overwhelming pain at such a very young age in childhood that there is no way to cope with it. This pain then is effectively also abandoned which coupled with the loss of self creates the need for the rise of the borderline false self that in many ways is at the center of the on-going impact of the core wound of abandonment.

There is a need to actively search for the lost authentic self when you have BPD. In this audio program, Author and Life Coach, A.J. Mahari explains, from the inside out, the experience and effects of not knowing who you are. Mahari had BPD and recovered but she knows all-too-well what it is like to live without knowing who you are, without being able to answer the question, "Who am I?" Mahari also knows what it is like to lack a stable sense of identity.

If you want to know more about what it takes to recover from BPD and how possible that really is then you benefit from listening to A.J.'s motivational and in depth exploration of this lost self in BPD. If you are a loved one of someone with BPD you too can benefit from a deeper understanding of how the lost self and lack of identity in those with BPD drive so much of the thoughts, feelings, and actions of those with BPD that are hurtful to everyone.

The self that you have lost, if you have BPD, does not have to remain lost. You really can learn how to search for it and what that means. You really can find your way back to this precious self and to the identity that it holds within it. This is a major part of the work required to take the journey of recovery from BPD The Journey From False Self to Authentic Self - getting in touch with the inner child in BPD

Borderline Personality Disorder is not just the psychological death of your authentic self, and then living without a known sense of self and without a stable sense of identity due to unresolved abandonment trauma. It is also very much about a deep and profound wounding that takes place at your spiritual center on a soul level. Those with BPD often feel out of control and powerless because they are missing this spiritual center. A spiritual center that lives at the center of the authentic self.

The lost self and the need and search to find this self and your identity is not only the way to recovery from BPD but it is also necessary so that you can be re-connected to your spiritual center and reclaim your own personal empowerment from the core wound of abandonment that has left you unempowered and feeling or experiencing many aspects of life from a victimization that belongs in your past. To stop re-living that past victimization those with BPD need to find and reclaim the lost self and the spiritual center from which all human beings can truly then empower themselves in ways that those with BPD cannot access.

Quotes From A.J. Mahari

"The inner child in those with BPD, due to the pain that borderlines have abandoned, may well feel overly controlled, abandoned, silenced, and neglected. The borderline's inner child is in tremendous pain and it is also the gateway to the lost self of the borderline."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Audio Program, "From False Self To Authentic Self In BPD - Getting in Touch With the Inner Child"

"If you have Borderline Personality Disorder you have met your one true enemy -- yourself -- namely, your false self to be much more specific. This false self becomes the shadow self experienced by those with BPD. The more you deny the Shadow Self, the more likely it is that you will be blind to your own faults and find those faults in others. Denying the false self, the shadow self, in BPD, only perpetuates your pain and suffering."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "The Shadows and Echoes of Self - The False in BPD"

"The abandonment of your pain is a very prolific, yet, profoundly self-destructive way to exist. It is not living. It is merely existing in what is an ever-increasing, all-too-familiar self-annihilating suffering."

-- A.J. Mahari in her Ebook, "The Abandoned Pain of BPD"
